THE Rankings: LSMU Maintains High Position as Leader among Country’s Universities
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THE WUR) 2025 were published on 9 October.
The Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) has maintained its high position, same as last year. The overall ranking of the University is 801–1000th in the world (2,029 higher education institutions from all over the world participated in the ranking).
Compared to last year, LSMU scores higher this year: 34.5–38.1 (32.7–36.9 in 2024). The highest scores were in the areas of Research Quality (59.9) and International Outlook (56.3).
In terms of results, LSMU is this year’s leader among Lithuanian universities participating in THE WUR ranking.
LSMU has been receiving top ratings in national and international university rankings for years. LSMU was ranked second after Vilnius University in the 2024 State University Rankings by the “Reitingai” magazine. This is the second year that LSMU has held this position.
LSMU considers its excellent position in national and international rankings to be a recognition of the University’s high quality.
