We warmly invite you to the EBRAINS Symposium on Neuroscience and Artificial Intelligence‚ The Future of Brain Medicine: AI, Digital Brain Twins and Neurotechnology in Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, Neurorehabilitation‘, which will take place at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in Kaunas, Lithuania, on 19–20 October 2026. The event is organised by EBRAINS Lithuania, EBRAINS Switzerland and EBRAINS France.
This meeting will bring together clinicians, neuroscientists, AI researchers and early-career scientists to explore how artificial intelligence, personalised virtual brain models, neuromodulation, wearable technologies, smartphone-based assessment and multimodal health data are reshaping brain–heart health and precision medicine. Special emphasis will be placed on clinical translation, responsible AI and neuroscience research, ethics, and societal impact.
Programme highlights
19 October 2026 Workshop: The programme is dedicated to EBRAINS and AI, combining hands-on training in The Virtual Brain and AI foundation models with early-career scientific presentations.
20 October 2026 Symposium: Invited experts from EBRAINS Switzerland, EBRAINS France, EBRAINS Lithuania and leading European clinical and research institutions will present recent advances in digital brain twins, neurotechnology, AI-supported personalised care, smartphone-based assessment of brain disorders, neuromodulation, and wearable technologies for brain and heart monitoring.
The scientific programme will conclude with the panel discussion “The Virtual Clinic: Promise, Risk, and Ethics in AI-Driven Medicine’ bringing together experts in neuroscience, neurology, neurosurgery, artificial intelligence, digital health, and biomedical engineering to discuss how AI and virtual patient technologies may transform future clinical practice.
