Most friendly to assist students and provide necessary treatment could be the clinic „Aušros medicinos centras“ (Reception +370 37 709 904, +370 67 945 144, www.ausrosmedicinoscentras.lt). Doctors working in the clinic will communicate in English.

If to visit a healthcare clinic and get medical services, the student must present the following documents which differ based on the country of residence:

Students from EU countries (+ NO, UK, LI, IS, CH)*:

The following documents must be presented upon registration at a chosen healthcare clinic:

  • Passport or ID card
  • EHIC (European Health Insurance Card)

*After registration, students have a right to receive all emergency healthcare services on the same conditions as a permanent resident of Lithuania. In case of treatment of chronic diseases or non-emergency cases, medical services will be charged.

Students from non-EU countries*:

The following documents must be presented upon registration at a chosen healthcare clinic:

  • Passport or ID card
  • TRP (Temporary Residence Permit)
  • Private Health Insurance (additionally to your Travel Insurance which covers only urgent medical services and repatriation)

* After registration, students can get healthcare services funded by their private health insurer in accordance to the conditions established in the insurance policy
