ONE OF THE TOP TEN BEST SCHOOLS IN THE COUNTRY 

According to the data of the National Education Agency (hereinafter – NŠA),and the generalised indicator of state matriculation exams (hereinafter – VBE), the Gymnasium is consistently in the top ten schools of the country. The gymnasium students are winners and prize-winners of international educational subject Olympiads (biology, mathematics, geography), many gymnasium graduates (the average of seven graduating classes – 40.28 percent) choose study programmes at LSMU. Most of the gymnasium graduates study at national and well-regarded foreign universities.

THE STRENGTH OF THE GYMNASIUM – EXCELLENT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TEACHERS AND STUDENTS 

According to the evaluations of external researchers, surveys of parents, students and teachers, the greatest strength of the Gymnasium is the excellent relationship between teachers and students. Pedagogical maturity of teachers, high qualifications, youthful energy, maximalism, ambitious goals help Gymnasium students achieve goals that meet their, their parents’, Gymnasium’s and LSMU’s expectations.

FRANCOPHONE EDUCATION OF STUDENTS

• The cooperation with the French Embassy and the French Institute in Lithuania, initiated by LSMU in 2013, has yielded results.
• In 2015 a project was launched in order to gain the international label for francophone schools “LabelFrancEducation” (En. “French language learning curve”) in a network of francophone schools, it was crowned with success – in 2018 we became a member of the international francophone school network, uniting more than 110,000 students worldwide.
• Since 2017 The gymnasium is the organiser of the Francophone theatre festival “Premier Rideaux” (En. “The First Curtain”).
• in 2018 the gymnasium, together with the centre of non-formal education of Lithuanian students, organised the international festival of francophone school theatres “Festival des Festivals” (En. “Festival of Festivals), which was attended by 200 participants from 11 countries around the world.

HIGH ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS OF STUDENTS

According to the generalized state matriculation exam indicator among the top 2 % of the best high schools in the country. Gymnasiums students are winners and prize-winners of international educational subject Olympiads (geography, biology, mathematics).
