LSMU Leadership Delegation Pays Visit to Riga Stradiņš University

A delegation from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) visited Riga Stradiņš University (RSU) on 17 September. During the visit, the leaders of the Universities signed a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at the development of innovation in medical technology and education and the enhancement of simulation training.

The agreement will pave the way for the implementation and development of simulation methods in health sciences teaching. Joint seminars and faculty exchanges will be organised to improve the transfer of knowledge and skills between the Universities.

The agreement also provides for active scientific cooperation: joint research and exchange programmes for students, teachers, and researchers. Such cooperation will strengthen the innovative capacity of both Universities and provide international experience.

The visit marks a new stage in the development of cooperation between LSMU and RSU, which will improve the opportunities for medical education and research in both Latvia and Lithuania.
