Centre for Postgraduate Studies
The Centre for Postgraduate Studies of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) operates in cooperation with structural and functional units of the University, Lithuanian and foreign legal entities.
Functions of the Centre:
- organisation of non-degree (residency) studies;
- organisation of professional qualification development of healthcare, pharmaceutical and other specialists;
- organisation of clinical medical practice.
Tasks of the centre:
- to plan and implement the training of specialists by organising non-degree (residency) studies;
- to implement the improvement of professional qualifications of healthcare, pharmaceutical and other specialists by organising courses, internships and scientific-practical conferences;
- to implement the raising of the qualification of veterinarians by organising courses, seminars, internships, scientific-practical conferences.
- to organise clinical medical practice in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine of the University’s Medical Academy.
