Scientific-Practical Workshop ,,Cold Plasma and Immunomodulation in Skin Cancer and Chronic Wound Care: A Joint Research andKnowledge Exchange Initiative”

We invite medical students, resident doctors, nurses, dermatovenereologists, and other healthcare professionals to participate in an international seminar
organized as part of a collaborative initiative between Baltic and German universities.

During the seminar, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the latest applications of cold plasma in the treatment of skin cancer and chronic wounds;
  • Attend a theoretical lecture covering the mechanism of action of cold plasma and its clinical indications;
  • Observe a practical demonstration of the treatment procedure in a real clinical setting;
  • Engage in discussions with experts in the field and project researchers.

PROGRAMME


10:00–10:15 Opening speech. Prof. S. Valiukevičienė, Head of the LSMU Clinic of Skin and Venereological Diseases; Prof. D. Žaliaduonytė, Director of the LSMU Kaunas Hospital; Ieva Pranka, Executive Director, Baltic-German University Liaison Office.
10:15–10:45 Theoretical Lecture “Cold Plasma Applications in Skin Cancer and Wound Care”. Prof. Steffen Emmert.
10:45–11:30 Discussion and Coffee Break.
11:30–12:30 Practical Demonstration of Cold Plasma Treatment.
