Sharing Knowledge and Innovation: A Visit by Technical University of Moldova Representatives
On June 16, representatives of the library of the Technical University of Moldova (Biblioteca Ştiinţifică UTM) — Dr. Viorica Lupu and Lilia Popov — visited the LSMU Library and Information Centre.
During the meeting, the guests learned about the technological solutions currently used and being implemented at the library, as well as future innovation plans. They were introduced to self-service and book security technologies, the research information management system CRIS, and other tools that help organise library activities more efficiently and improve the user experience.
The meeting also covered relevant areas of academic library development, challenges and opportunities in information resource management. The participants shared professional experiences, best practices, and insights into the role of libraries in the rapidly changing research and study environment.
Such meetings strengthen international cooperation, promote the exchange of knowledge and best practices, and open up new opportunities for joint initiatives in the future.
