Summer School

The Summer School programme is designed for students eager to deepen their knowledge in a specific academic area or gain new skills in a short, focused period. Through engaging lectures, hands-on workshops, and collaborative projects, participants will experience an enriching, fast-paced learning environment.

The language of instruction for the Summer School is English.

Neurosurgery Summer School

Neurosurgery Summer School will be held on 14-19 July at Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Kauno klinikos – the largest hospital in Lithuania.

Programme goal: to help medical students gain both practical and theoretical knowledge,       enabling them to understand the role of neurosurgical treatment, recognize the importance of a multidisciplinary approach, and apply their knowledge in practice.

  • Participants will be awarded the certificate (3 ECTS).
  • The official language of the summer school: English.
  • Participation fee: 270 Eur

If you study Medicine in the third or upper years and would like to participate in the summer school, you are kindly asked to register until 20 May 2025.

Basics of Emergency Medicine Summer School

Basics of Emergency Medicine Summer School will be held on 14-19 July at Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Kauno klinikos – the largest hospital in Lithuania.

Programme goal: to familiarize students with the principles of emergency medicine, the functions of the emergency department, and the range of services provided, to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to assess and stabilize patients in acute conditions.

  • Participants will be awarded the certificate (3 ECTS).
  • The official language of the summer school: English.
  • Participation fee: 270 Eur

If you study Medicine in the third or upper years and would like to participate in the summer school, you are kindly asked to register until 20 May 2025.

Applicants have to provide:

  • Certificate about the medical studies at the university (university name, study programme and study year should be indicated).
  • Certificate of an average of grades of modules (subjects) at the university.
  • Curriculum vitae.
