The internship will be offered within the Agribusiness / Animal Health ELISA team. The team works on veterinary diagnostic immunoassays, including ELISA kit development, assay optimization, reagent evaluation and analytical performance testing.

Requirements:
We are looking for highly motivated students interested in immunology, biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, veterinary diagnostics or related life science fields.
The internship work will be conducted in a Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) laboratory, therefore the student must be ready to complete all required safety and biosafety training before starting practical laboratory work.
Basic theoretical knowledge of immunoassays, protein–antibody interactions and good laboratory practice is expected. Previous practical experience with ELISA, pipetting, buffer preparation, protein assays, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, cell culture or microbiological techniques would be an advantage, but is not mandatory.
The student should be accurate in experimental work, able to document results clearly, work in a structured way, and communicate effectively with the team. Good English skills are required for reading protocols, recording experimental data and working in an international environment.
Study Programs:
Students from the LSMU Veterinary Academy with an interest in veterinary diagnostics, immunoassay development, animal health, agribusiness biotechnology or applied laboratory research are especially welcome.
Internship period: The internship duration should be at least 2 months. A longer internship period would be preferred, as it allows the student to become familiar with BSL-2 laboratory workflows and contribute more meaningfully to veterinary diagnostics ELISA kit development and optimization projects.
Number of students: Maximum 2 students can be accepted during the same internship period.

Ophtalmologic center in Avignon, Toulon, Marseille is searching one ophtalmologist full time to work in one of our modern structure. You will be helped by assistant orthoptists, nurses, medical assistant, secretary. We are already working with 3 lithuanian ophtalmologists.
