LSMU Culture Week 2024 “Art of Living”

< Back
10:00-18:30

On 13-17 May, the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) will traditionally host the Culture Week to bring together the University community, invite them to step out of their routine, and engage in cultural education activities.

The topic of this year’s Culture Week is the Art of Living, which invites people to rediscover the love of life and to appreciate every moment. During the event, you will learn how to understand oneself better, find a balance between work and leisure, remain calm in dynamic present-day situations, and take care of your mental and physical well-being.

The LSMU Culture Week will offer the opportunity to slow down and enjoy earthly pleasures: real Italian pizza, interaction with animals, the excitement of participating in a competition, a quiz or an orienteering event, and the new experiences of visiting the University’s landmarks you haven’t seen before.

This year’s event is exceptional, because LSMU alumni community is gifting a two-day series of interactive workshops “The art of living in dynamic contemporary living conditions”. In the workshops, we will look at eight different spheres of the art of living and examine their effective application in various unpredictable dynamic modern life situations.

Take part in the competition “Me and My Pet at the University” and win useful prizes for your pets!

Take a picture of your pet at the University and send it to kultura@lsmu.lt by 10 May.

Receive not only valuable but also useful prizes: a free check-up at the LSMU Small Animal Clinic, which includes a general check-up, an eye examination, a morphological blood test, and an ultrasound of the abdominal organs, and vouchers from Pet 24 for toys, food, hygiene products and other items for various pets.

The winners will be selected by lottery during the LSMU Culture Week “The Art of Living”.

We encourage you to explore the full programme and register for the activities you would like to participate in.
