Summury

The CardioPgX-TWIN project aims to establish a practical model for the implementation of pharmacogenomics (PGx) in cardiology at LSMU Kaunas Hospital. The model will include clear SOPs, a governance structure, a multidisciplinary case discussion format, and a PGx recommendation report, enabling genetic information to be used in a structured way to support individualized medication prescribing.

Result

A functional, standardized, and scalable model for the implementation of pharmacogenomics in cardiology will be established at LSMU Kaunas Hospital, enabling genetic information to be used to support individualized medication prescribing.
